Faros Wreck - North Sea Coast

The Faros Wreck, off Denmark's North Sea coast, isn’t about big pelagics or colourful reef fish. It’s about atmosphere and exploration. This site consistently delivers a moody, almost haunting dive, especially when the light filters down just right through the green North Sea water. We’ve always been drawn to how intact she remains, a real testament to the cold water preservation. You’ll spend most of your dive appreciating the ship's structure, from the bridge down to the propeller, all while keeping an eye out for the resident critters. Lobsters often peek from crevices, and we’ve spotted some impressively large scorpionfish tucked against the metalwork. Our favourite parts are the cargo holds, easily penetrable and full of ghostly light. She's a fantastic wreck for divers who love intricate exploration and a bit of history, even if the visibility can be a bit variable. We'd suggest going on a calm day for the best experience; it really makes a difference to the light.
