With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - FRAYA offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The schooner Fraya sits upright at 30 meters, remarkably intact given the North Sea’s power. We found the stern particularly interesting, still holding much of its shape, while the bow has started to break down a bit more. Visibility here can be a gamble, but when it’s good, the wreck is home to schools of cod and the occasional conger eel. It's a solid wreck dive for those comfortable with deeper conditions and variable vis.
