FUSION - H10 - North Sea Coast

The H10, or ‘Fusion’ as it’s often called, is one of our absolute favourites along the North Sea coast. Dropping to 26 metres, this isn't a dive for the absolute beginner, but if you've got a few dives under your belt and a good sense of buoyancy, it’s incredibly rewarding. This Danish cutter lies upright, mostly intact, and it’s a proper dive into history. What we love most here is the structure itself. You can still make out the wheelhouse, the hold, and even parts of the engine room. It’s not just a pile of rubble; it feels like a ghost ship. Over the years, it’s become a home for a surprising amount of life. We've seen some impressive cod lurking in the shadows of the hold, and the deck is usually carpeted in plumose anemones, waving gently in the current. Look closely amongst the smaller cracks and you'll often spot squat lobsters and crabs scuttling away. The visibility here can be hit-or-miss, typical of the North Sea, but on a good day, when the light penetrates the green water, the atmosphere is just incredible. We always try to time our dives for slack tide to avoid the stronger currents, which can really pick up out here. It makes for a much more relaxed exploration of the wreck.
