The Gamma, a merchant vessel that went down in June of 1940, sits upright on the seabed at 20 metres. It’s a good penetration wreck for those with the proper training, with the hold still accessible if you’re comfortable in overhead environments. Outside, the wreck itself is well-colonised by plumose anemones, and you’ll often spot cod sheltering in the darker recesses. It’s a rewarding dive for wreck enthusiasts comfortable with deeper dives in cooler water.
