GARDA - North Sea Coast
Garda, a fishing vessel sunk by a mine in 1942, sits at 37 meters off the Danish North Sea coast. It's a deep dive, definitely one for experienced wreck divers comfortable with colder water and limited visibility that’s common in these parts. The wreck itself is largely broken up, but you can still make out the hull structure and bits of fishing gear scattered across the seabed. Over the years, it’s become home to various crabs and often schools of cod, making for an interesting, if somewhat sombre, exploration of maritime history.
