HEBE - North Sea Coast
The HEBE wreck off the North Sea Coast is a good pick for those who enjoy a solid, accessible dive into history. Lying at 22 metres, this fishing vessel is fairly intact, giving you a proper sense of its working life before it went down. We've often found small crabs scuttling across the deck and schools of juvenile cod darting in and out of the holds. It's a nice easy wreck dive, probably best for those comfortable with a bit of ambient light penetration and a keen eye for details rather than big pelagics. Conditions can be a bit choppy on the surface, but usually calm down once you're descending the line.
