With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - HENNY offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Henny, a fishing vessel, sits upright on the seabed at 34 metres, making it a dive for those comfortable with deeper profiles. It’s classified as a dangerous wreck, which usually means some parts are collapsing or there are snagging hazards, so good buoyancy and a cautious approach are essential here. Despite the lack of specific species data, we know wrecks in these waters become artificial reefs, often attracting local cod, blennies, and crabs seeking shelter. It’s a compelling piece of history, colonised by the sea, and well worth the effort for experienced wreck divers looking for a challenging but rewarding North Sea exploration.
