HERMA - North Sea Coast
Herma, a trawler sunk back in 1950, rests in just 2 metres of water off the North Sea Coast. It’s a shallow dive, more of a snorkel really, but don't let the depth fool you into thinking there isn't anything to see. The wreck itself is quite broken up now, scattered across the seabed, but those pieces have become perfect anchors for small crabs and anemones. You'll find blennies darting between the metal plates and flatfish camouflaged on the sand nearby. It’s a great spot for newer divers, or anyone who enjoys spending time in the shallows looking for the smaller creatures.
