With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - Herta offers some of North Sea Coast's richest shore diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
Herta is a Danish North Sea dive that offers a glimpse into a different kind of temperate water experience. We’ve found it’s usually a sandy bottom here, with visibility often around 5-10 metres, depending on recent weather. Look for flatfish camouflaged on the seabed and various crabs moving between the stones. This site generally suits divers comfortable in cooler water, looking for something a bit off the beaten path.
