HOGEN - North Sea Coast
Hogen, a torpedo boat lost to the North Sea, sits at a very manageable 20 meters. It’s a good spot for a single dive, especially if you appreciate the stark beauty of a wreck that’s been down for a while. The vessel is broken but still identifiable, offering plenty of nooks and crannies that shield small crabs and the occasional scuttling flatfish. We’ve found it best explored slowly, letting your eyes adjust to the muted light, often revealing schools of juvenile cod darting through the fractured hull. It’s a quiet, reflective dive, more about the history and the subtle marine life that has claimed it than big pelagics.
