With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - JORN offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The JORN, an old fishing vessel, sits upright at 18 meters, making for a straightforward dive along the North Sea coast. We found the wreck surprisingly intact, a ghostly outline on the sandy seabed. It's not a huge wreck, but there’s enough here to poke around for a good 30 minutes, especially if you enjoy exploring the wheelhouse and deck. Expect to see plenty of cod and flatfish hunkering down in the shadows, and we even spotted a few crabs scuttling amongst the collapsed superstructure. This one's a good pick for divers looking for an easy, shallow wreck dive without strong currents.
