LIMA - North Sea Coast
LIMA is one of those wrecks that sits just shallow enough to offer a good, relaxed dive, even if the visibility isn’t always stellar. This old merchant vessel, resting at 14 metres since 1943, has settled into the seabed, its hull now a home for various crabs and small fish. You’ll find its structure still largely intact in places, offering plenty of nooks to poke your head into. It's a nice easy dive for anyone who enjoys exploring a bit of history, particularly if you appreciate the subtle beauty of a wreck slowly being reclaimed by the sea rather than a coral-encrusted spectacle. Just keep an eye on the local conditions, as the North Sea can be a bit moody.
