Boca Chica offers a relaxed dive, a good pick if you’re looking for something gentle in the Bayahibe area. You’ll find a bustling coral reef, nothing too deep, making it a comfortable spot for newer divers or those easing into their trip. We often spot schools of French grunts and the occasional hogfish rooting around in the sand. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff too; yellowhead jawfish darting back into their burrows are a common sight here, and we've seen a few curious orangespotted filefish on most visits. It’s an easy, pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
