M51 - North Sea Coast
The M51, a motor vessel that went down in 1950, rests at a very accessible 18 meters off the North Sea coast. It’s a good spot for divers looking for a straightforward wreck dive. We've found the wreck relatively intact, providing plenty of structure for exploration – you can often trace the outline of the stern and bow, even catch glimpses into some of the cargo holds. The exposed metalwork has become home to a surprising number of crabs and lobsters tucked into crevices, alongside schooling juvenile cod darting between the beams. It's a dive that rewards slow, careful exploration, especially good for those new to wreck diving or looking for a relaxed afternoon beneath the waves.
