With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - METTY offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Metty wreck lies in just five metres of water off the North Sea coast, making it a very accessible dive. What's left of the hull is scattered, but it provides a decent home for crabs and various small fish. We'd suggest this site for newer divers looking for their first taste of wreck diving, or those who enjoy shallow rummaging. Just be mindful of the "dangerous wreck" classification, it’s a bit broken up.
