Nordvestrev - North Sea Coast
Bajos del Caballo is one of those deeper reef dives off Bayahibe where the action often picks up. We’ve found it’s best done as an early morning second dive, after the sun has really started to punch through the water column. You’ll drop onto a sloping coral reef here, where the light plays nicely over the hard corals. Look for the little oddities, like freckled driftfish tucked into crevices and, if you’re very lucky, a sheepshead minnow flitting past. It’s a good choice for divers who appreciate a relaxed drift and don’t mind a bit of depth.
