NORMA - North Sea Coast
Diving the Norma on Denmark's North Sea Coast is a proper historical dive. She went down in October 1945, mined, and now sits at a shallow 11 metres. What's left of her masts are still visible, a ghostly finger pointing to the surface, and the wreck itself is quite broken up but still offers interesting nooks for exploration. We've seen schools of juvenile cod darting through the rusted metal, and the occasional lumpfish clinging to the wreck's structure. It's a dive that suits those with a keen interest in maritime history and a respect for the often-murky, often-fascinating wrecks of the North Sea. Just be mindful of those post-war minefields, and plan your dive carefully.
