With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - NUDDE offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Nudde, a merchant vessel that went down in 1967, rests flat on the seabed in just 5 metres of water. It’s an interesting dive, especially for those new to wreck diving or looking for a shallower explore. We often see decent numbers of crabs tucked into the nooks and crannies of the hull, and schools of small fish drift above the deck. Visibility can be a bit of a lottery here, as with many North Sea sites, so picking a calm day after a period of settled weather really pays off. It’s certainly a solid option for a relaxed dive when the conditions align.
