OMEGA - North Sea Coast
The Omega wreck sits in about 15 metres, a proper old motor vessel that’s now a designated dangerous wreck. It means you’re not allowed inside, but there's still plenty to explore from the outside. The steel structure is quite broken up in places, which actually makes it more interesting, creating lots of little nooks and crannies for fish. We usually find cod and blennies tucked into the twisted metal, and the whole thing is draped in anemones and dead man's fingers. It’s a good one for photographers who like a bit of a challenge, especially with the North Sea visibility.
