PAX - North Sea Coast
The PAX, a motor vessel, lies at a shallow 14 metres off the North Sea Coast, making it a good wreck for divers new to this kind of diving. We found it’s become quite colonised, with the wreck itself forming a kind of artificial reef for local fish life. You'll often see schools of cod weaving through the superstructure, and crabs scuttling amongst the metal plates. Despite its "dangerous wreck" classification, it's more about the history and the marine life drawn to it than any deep penetration. It’s a solid dive for those looking for a relaxed exploration of a piece of maritime history.
