PELLA - North Sea Coast
The Pella, a substantial wreck from 1964, lies broken into two main sections in a consistent 5 metres of water off Denmark’s North Sea coast. What she lacks in extreme depth, she makes up for in sheer scale; 134 metres long, even in two pieces, there’s plenty to navigate. We often find the bow and stern sections attract different marine residents. Look for schooling fish making their homes in the more sheltered nooks and crannies. This is a site that suits newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed, long bottom time exploration. Just remember, this part of the North Sea can kick up a bit, so pick your day for calmer conditions.
