RASMINE - North Sea Coast

Diving the Rasmine is pure North Sea adventure. She’s a fishing vessel, down since 1946, and what makes her special is that she's still largely intact, sitting upright at just 12 metres. We love how the hull rises off the seabed, giving you a real sense of her scale. You’ll be navigating through the shadows of the old superstructure, feeling that cold war chill knowing she was a mine victim. It’s an eerie dive, but full of character. Visibility here can be a bit of a lottery, sometimes 10 metres, sometimes just 3, so be prepared for a proper wreck dive, torches on. But even on murkier days, the Rasmine delivers. We’ve seen conger eels poking out from rusted pipes and enormous crabs scuttling across the deck. For photographers, the light playing through the remaining deck openings is fantastic, especially if you catch it just right mid-morning. It’s a site that rewards multiple visits, revealing new details each time. We’d suggest this one for divers comfortable in low visibility and with good buoyancy, ready for a bit of exploration rather than a drift tour.
