RIKKELINE - North Sea Coast
The RIKKELINE, a fishing vessel resting at 30 metres, is a classic North Sea dive. It’s an older wreck, broken up a fair bit, but still offers plenty of structure to explore. We’ve found cod and conger eels often sheltering in the deeper sections, and the deck plating is usually covered in plumose anemones, creating a soft, colourful carpet. Visibility can be a bit of a gamble here, typical for the North Sea, so pick your day carefully; aim for calm weather and an incoming tide for the best chance at a clearer dive. It’s a good one for divers comfortable with colder water and deeper wreck penetration.
