With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - ROLF offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The ROLF wreck, just off the North Sea Coast, sits in a forgiving 5 meters, making it a surprisingly accessible dive. We’re talking about what’s left of a hull and superstructure here, but that’s precisely its charm. Over time, it’s become a home for all sorts of local marine life, transforming the metal into a living reef. You’ll find schools of small fish darting through the rusted remains and crabs scuttling amongst the growth. It’s a great spot for newer divers looking to get their first taste of wreck diving without any serious depth or current concerns, or for photographers wanting to capture the interplay of light and shadow on the wreck’s skeletal structure.
