RUSS - North Sea Coast
The RUSS wreck, resting at 25 metres off Denmark’s North Sea coast, is a solid dive for those who appreciate a bit of history beneath the waves. This transport vessel went down in May 1945, and she’s now largely broken up, though her scale is still impressive. We've found the stern section often holds the most interest, with plenty of nooks where cod and blennies like to hide. Visibility can be a typical North Sea mixed bag, so picking a calm day is key, but when it's good, exploring the scattered remains and feeling that history is genuinely engaging. It's a proper wreck dive, best suited for those comfortable with deeper conditions and ready for a proper rummage around.
