With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - SALOME offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Salome wreck sits upright on the seabed at 11 meters, an old fishing vessel broken in two. She’s a decent introductory wreck dive for those comfortable with North Sea conditions. Expect the usual crabs, lobsters, and flatfish making homes in the metal, with schools of cod sometimes circling the mast. Currents can be a factor, so pick your day carefully.
