SAMSO - North Sea Coast
Samso, out in the North Sea, is one of those deeper wreck dives that really rewards a bit of planning. The wreck lies at 18 metres, making it accessible for advanced open water divers, though you’ll want good buoyancy. What makes Samso interesting isn’t just the wreck itself, but how it’s become an artificial reef. You’ll find cod, conger eels, and sometimes lobsters tucked into the nooks and crannies of the superstructure. It's a proper adventure, a real piece of history down there, but be mindful of the "dangerous wreck" classification-we're talking about a site that was mined, so respect the site's history and potential hazards.
