SEEHEXE - North Sea Coast

The SEEHEXE isn't your typical North Sea wreck. For starters, it’s practically in the shallows, which makes it a fantastic, chill dive for anyone who loves exploring history without the depth anxiety. We're talking a fishing vessel, relatively intact, sitting so close to the surface you might even spot parts of it from the boat on a calm day. What we really love here is the light. Because it’s so shallow, light penetrates right down, illuminating the superstructure and giving everything a kind of ethereal glow. You can spend a good long time just circling the hull, poking your head into openings, seeing where the wheelhouse used to be. The marine life here isn't the big pelagic stuff, but it's busy. Crabs scuttle in the shadows, small schools of fish dart in and out of broken windows, and anemones cling to every available surface. Our favourite time to dive it is definitely on a sunny morning, when the visibility is at its best and the light really pops. If you're into wreck photography, or just fancy a relaxed dive with a tangible piece of history, the SEEHEXE is a solid pick.
