Why dive here
With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - SIDDNIA offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Siddnia, a motor vessel, sits upright in just 5 metres of water off the North Sea Coast, an accessible wreck dive for many. What we appreciate about her is how the structure has become a home. You’ll find flatfish tucked into the sand around the hull, and schools of juvenile pollack often mill about the superstructure. She's deemed a dangerous wreck, so penetration isn't recommended, but there's plenty to explore on the outside, peering into the open holds where crabs often scuttle away. It’s a site that suits divers looking for a relaxed dive, good for extended bottom times and getting comfortable navigating a wreck.

Safety Notes
Wreck site - avoid penetration without wreck diving certification. Watch for sharp metal and entanglement hazards.
Cold water this month (avg 13°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.
