SIERRA CORDOBA - North Sea Coast
The *Sierra Cordoba* lies on the seabed off the North Sea Coast, a good option for divers looking for a wreck that isn't too deep. This steamship went down in 1948, and now rests at a comfortable 15 metres, making it accessible for a longer bottom time and suitable for less experienced wreck divers. Over the decades, crabs have moved in, alongside flatfish camouflaged against the sand, and we often spot schools of small baitfish flitting through the superstructure. While much of the wreck is broken up, you can still discern the bow and stern sections, offering some interesting swim-throughs if you're comfortable with overhead environments. It’s a site that rewards a slow, methodical exploration.
