With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - SJAELLAND offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Sjælland, a merchant vessel, sits upright in just six metres of water off Denmark’s North Sea coast. We often find her masts breaking the surface, a clear indicator of her shallow depth and how intact she remains. It’s an easy dive, perfect for newer wreck enthusiasts or those looking for a relaxed exploration. Around the structure, you’ll spot crab scuttling across the deck and small schools of fish darting in and out of the holds. Visibility can vary here, but on a good day, the light plays beautifully through the superstructure, making for some atmospheric photography.
