Sjællands Rev

Sjællands Rev isn't your typical warm water coral affair. Forget the tropical fish; here, it’s all about the North Sea’s rugged beauty. We love the dramatic topography, a proper underwater mountain range carved by ancient forces. The visibility can be a bit of a gamble, but when it's good, say after a few days of calm, you can make out the dark shapes of Atlantic cod lurking in the deeper crevices, and the flashes of whiting darting through the water column. Keep an eye out for North Sea Tube Anemones, their delicate tentacles a stark contrast to the rough seabed. We’ve found the currents here can be robust, so this site definitely favours divers comfortable with a bit of drift and those who appreciate the raw, wild side of temperate diving. You might even spot a lumpsucker tucked into the rocks if you look closely. It's a proper adventure, a dive that reminds you how diverse our planet's reefs truly are.
