The Sondre Nissum, a fishing vessel resting at 27 metres, offers a classic North Sea wreck dive. It’s marked as a dangerous wreck, which usually means it’s still relatively intact but potentially unstable, so we always suggest a thorough briefing from local dive centres. You’ll typically find cod, ling, and various crabs that have made the hold and superstructure their home. Visibility can be a real mixed bag here, sometimes a good 10 metres, other times a struggle. Best for experienced wreck divers comfortable with colder water and the occasional current, who appreciate the quiet history of a working boat.
