STEN TRANS - North Sea Coast
The Sten Trans, an old motor vessel, went down in 1975 after its cargo of stones shifted. Today, it sits upright at 18 meters, a solid, accessible wreck on the North Sea floor. We like the way it’s become a home for the resident fish, with schools of cod often hanging around the superstructure and crabs scuttling across the deck plates. Penetration is possible for experienced wreck divers, though the cargo holds are the main event, often revealing flatfish tucked into the sand. This is a good one for divers looking for a straightforward wreck dive without major current challenges, a nice taste of Danish maritime history.
