With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - SUSANNE KLAUS offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Susanne Klaus, a fishing vessel resting at a shallow 4 meters, is a solid North Sea wreck for a relaxed dive. What you get here is a hull and superstructure still largely intact, which always makes for interesting penetration opportunities if you’re properly trained and equipped. We’ve seen quite a few crabs scuttling around, and small schools of Pollock often hang out inside the shelter of the wreck. It's a great spot for newer wreck divers or photographers wanting calm conditions to practice their skills without deep-water challenges. The shallow depth means plenty of light, even on cloudier days.
