SVALEN - North Sea Coast
Diving the Svalen means an encounter with a sailing vessel, a wreck that’s now marked as dangerous. You'll find it sitting upright at 15 metres, often meaning a decent bottom time for divers wanting a good look. We’ve found the stern particularly intact, where the rudder usually holds court for some resident crabs. The mast is broken, but portions still lie draped across the deck, forming little overhangs where you might spot blennies or even a small cod tucked away. It’s not the biggest wreck you'll ever dive, but it’s got that classic North Sea vibe – a bit eerie, a bit beautiful, and surprisingly full of little surprises for those who take the time to look closely.
