SWEDEN - North Sea Coast
The SWEDEN, a merchant vessel that went down in 1954, now rests upright on the seabed at a comfortable 16 meters, making it a solid pick for less experienced wreck divers. We found it a surprisingly intact wreck, with the holds and stern castle still offering good penetration for those with the right training and gear. Shoals of cod and pollack often school around the superstructure, and we've spotted a few inquisitive seals making their rounds here too. It’s a good little dive for a relaxing afternoon, especially when the North Sea decides to play nice with the visibility.
