TENTO - North Sea Coast
TENTO is a name many North Sea wreck divers know. This old steamship lies at 20 meters, making it a good target for those looking to explore a proper wreck without excessive depth. We’ve found the stern section particularly photogenic, with its prop and rudder still largely intact. Over the years, the metal has become a home for a decent scattering of anemones and some surprisingly hefty cod. You’ll want to pick a day with minimal surge, as the North Sea can be a bit feisty, but on a calm day, TENTO offers a real glimpse into maritime history. It’s certainly a site that rewards repeat visits as you uncover more details each time.
