The TORO, a wreck from 1943, lies in just 11 metres of water off the North Sea Coast. We consider it a straightforward dive, well-suited for divers looking to explore a piece of history without deep-diving complications. Though officially a "dangerous wreck," its shallow depth makes for good light penetration, highlighting the hull structure and the various fish species, like cod and flatfish, that have made it their home. Expect to spend your bottom time circling the remains, observing how the metal has become a canvas for marine growth.
