UC 30 - North Sea Coast
Diving the UC 30 off the North Sea Coast is a proper historical journey. This German U-boat, sunk by a mine in 1917, now rests at 26 metres, largely intact despite its wartime end. We often find the wreck's structure surprisingly well-preserved, with the conning tower still identifiable and some areas offering limited penetration for experienced wreck divers. You’ll spend your time exploring the hull, now home to North Sea anemones and various fish sheltering in the nooks and crannies. It’s a dive for those who appreciate the quiet solemnity of a century-old war grave and the unique challenge of navigating a classic submarine outline.
