WITUS - North Sea Coast
The WITUS wreck, resting at 35 metres off the North Sea coast, is a proper dive for those who appreciate the quiet history of a sunken fishing vessel. It’s not about bright colours here, but rather the texture of rust and the way the light filters through the green water. We've found the hull still largely intact, a skeletal frame that offers plenty of nooks for small crabs and blennies. Visibility can vary, as it often does in the North Sea, but on a good day, you can circumnavigate the deck and imagine its working life before it became a home for cod and flatfish. It's a site that rewards patience and a keen eye for detail.
