Y 340 - North Sea Coast
The Y 340, a cutter that went down after a collision in 1952, sits upright on the seabed at a shallow six metres. It’s an accessible wreck, perfect for divers looking to spend some real time exploring without worrying about depth or decompression. You can fin right over the wheelhouse, peer into the holds, and see how the North Sea has claimed it, softening the edges with anemones and the occasional crab scuttling past. Visibility here can be a bit of a mixed bag, as it often is along this coast, but on a good day, the Y 340 offers a wonderfully peaceful glimpse into maritime history.
