Big Cave, off the coast of Crete, is exactly what it sounds like: a sizeable cavern dive. The entrance opens wide, allowing plenty of ambient light to filter in, making it a good option for divers new to overhead environments. Inside, we found some interesting rock formations and the occasional grouper lurking in the shadows. It’s a solid choice for a different kind of dive day, especially if you’re keen to explore a well-lit cave system without serious penetration.
