Caverns is a cave dive where divers can encounter sea turtles. Water ranges 17-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Caverns site in Crete offers a gentle introduction to overhead environments. Sunlight streams through openings, illuminating the interiors and making for easy navigation. It’s a good spot for divers keen to explore rock formations without deep penetration, and we often recommend it for those new to cavern diving. Expect to see some small fish darting in and out of the shadows.
