Skaros
Protected Area
SANTORINI: NEA KAI PALIA KAMENI - PROFITIS ILIAS
Why dive here
Skaros is a dive where divers can encounter sea turtles. Water ranges 17-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Skaros offers a straightforward dive, well-suited for less experienced divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon in the water. We found a gentle slope leading to rocky outcrops, home to plenty of smaller Mediterranean wrasse and blennies. Visibility is generally good here, though it can pick up some sediment after a strong southerly blow. It’s a pleasant spot for a casual exploration.
