BORU - South Coast

The Boru, a 13.4-meter fishing vessel, has been sitting upright on the seabed since 1992, making for a straightforward dive off Ireland's South Coast. We’ve found her to be a pretty well-preserved example of a smaller fishing boat, with lots of nooks and crannies to peer into as you descend to her deck at around 55 meters. She’s not massive, but the wreck creates a decent habitat, attracting pollack and conger eels that have made it their home. The Boru is a solid pick for those looking to explore a compact wreck that's had time to settle into its new life on the seafloor.
