KABER - South Coast

The Kaber, a sailing vessel that went down in 1991 after a fire, lies upright at 25 metres on the seabed off Ireland's south coast. It’s a respectable wreck dive, not huge but with enough character to keep you interested. We found schools of pollack hanging around the mast and a fair few wrasse tucked into the hold. It’s an accessible wreck for those comfortable at depth, offering a good glimpse into the ocean’s reclaiming process.
