S S Hourtien Wreck - South Coast

The S.S. Hourtien, a French cargo ship that went down in 1917, is a proper chunk of history lying off the South Coast of Ireland. We usually find it’s home to conger eels poking out from the shadows and crab scuttling across the encrusted metalwork. The wreck itself is reasonably intact, offering plenty of nooks to peek into. We'd say it’s a good one for divers with some cold water experience who appreciate a dive with a story.
