SEA FLOWER - South Coast
The Sea Flower isn't your intact, perfect wreck. This wooden trawler, sunk in 1968, lies scattered at 30m, a collection of timbers and ribs now home to conger eels and squat lobsters. It's a dive for those who enjoy piecing together history from fragments rather than exploring a whole ship. We've seen some impressive dogfish here, tucked amongst the debris, and the sheer volume of invertebrate life clinging to the remains is always interesting. It’s a quiet dive, often just you and the resident crustaceans.
