With 185+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Seal Harbour offers some of South Coast's richest reef diving. Water ranges 9-15°C, warmest July, August, September.
Seal Harbour, on Ireland's South Coast, is a gentle shore dive, ideal for calmer days. We often find conger eels tucked into crevices, and it's a reliable spot for encountering seals, as the name suggests. It's an excellent choice for less experienced divers or those looking for an easy second dive, with depths staying fairly shallow. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, it offers a relaxing exploration of the local critters.
